Letter from Mason W. Gross to Whitehead

Gross sends Whitehead greetings on his birthday, says his work is being taught for the first time in the general history of philosophy course at Columbia, that he himself is teaching a class on Whitehead's philosophy for the following year, that he has a grad student who heard Whitehead's "Modes of Thought" lectures and wants to focus on his philosophy, and that he is writing an article on Whitehead's philosophy for The American Scholar.
